Smally: "Seed" originally began as just that - a seed of a line that I had stuck in my brain that "the apple bites back". One afternoon round about the mid-point of writing the record I had a bit of time to kill so I wrote and recorded a song called "The Apple Bites Back" - it wasn't really meant as a Tigermouse track, more a stupid little song to fill some space with all the music you can hear on "Seed", and layers of vocal melodies singing throwaway lines like "I think this time I bet you wish ...
