I love The Byrds. But I’ll take this collection of Bob Dylan covers by Sucks To LaLa Land over their Greatest Hits any day. The times are still a-changin, but sometimes we have to go back to go forward. Keith Crain, like many before him has revisited arguably the greatest poet of them all. Armed with a simple acoustic guitar and a voice of life-affirming fragility, he somehow breathes new fire into these long overplayed words and melodies. “Well Under Thirty” is worth downloading as an introduction to Dylan, or even as a re-visitation to songs you know like the backs of your own hands. But it is especially worthwhile as a debut record from an undoubted talent.
